Extinguish and Save Cigarette

Make sure you remove the instructions from the Cigarette Chamber before using.

Step 1	Always make sure that the Ash Can is closed before inserting the cigarette. With the Ash Can facing you, pinch both the top and bottom of the Butt Cutter with both thumbs and index fingers. Open the top with you thumb. Pinch the top back side of the Butt Cutter with your index finger to open the Cuter Arm. Drop the lit cigarette into the Cigarette Compartment with the burning end facing downward (filter up). Close the top. Wait five seconds. This gives the cigarette time to extinguish and cool down. The cooler the cigarette, the better the cut. Then, pinch the Cutter Arm Closed from the bottom of the Butt Cutter to cut the ash end off. Wait at least one minute, and then open the Ash Can to discard your ashes (or simply wait till a more convenient time).	Step 4

It isn’t necessary to cut the end off when you’re discarding the
cigarette.

How many times have you lit the wrong end? No problem, just drop the cigarette in filter first and trim it off.
